Action urgent en solidarité avec le peuple palestinien le 5 Juin

Chéres amies,

Dans la nuit du 30-31 Mai, l’État Israélien a lâchement attaqué la Flottille de la Liberté qui se dirigeait vers Gaza. Cette flottille transportait plus de 700 militants et militantes internationaux et de l’aide humanitaire (vêtements, médicaments, nourriture et matériel de construction) pour aider la population de Gaza. La violence israélienne a provoqué plusieurs morts et blessés. Pour le moment nous n’avons pas d’informations précises sur les chiffres exacts.

Nous condamnons avec véhémence cette attaque et appelons toutes les Coordinations Nationales de la MMF à organiser ou à se joindre à toute manifestation de protestation , organisée par d’autres mouvements sociaux, pour exiger la fin du blocus de Gaza et l’adoption de mesures pratiques mettant fin à l’impunité d’Israël, sa violation systématique du droit international. Nous vous invitons aussi à ajouter ce sujet aux actions déja prévues dans votre calendrier de mobilisations.

From this weekend onwards, World March of Women activists take to the streets in 51 countries

Activists in various countries will denounce the situation of women in the world and present their demands with regards to the common good and public services, peace and demilitarisation, women's economic autonomy and violence against women. They will also celebrate the 100^th anniversary of the declaration of International Women's Day.

Activists in Turkey are released – process will continue

After five months and 20 days in jail, the criminal court in Turkey decided to release the 22 activists (10 women and 12 men) arrested in the months of May and June. The next stage of the trial investigating the alleged involvement of the accused with an illegal organisation will be held on the 2nd March 2010. Testimonies from all prisoners were heard in this first trial, which lasted two days, until early morning on Saturday, the 21st. For lack of time, the nine others who were awaiting trial in liberty were not heard.
